Paediatric Dietetic Service
Coombe Wing offers a paediatric dietetic service which is provided
by Laura Berry, Paediatric Dietician on a Monday afternoon. Following
graduation from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa in 1997
with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Dietetics) and Post-Graduate
Diploma (Dietetics), Laura moved to the UK to gain clinical
experience. After an initial post at Hammersmith Hospital NHS
Foundation Trust (London), she moved into clinical paediatrics at
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, followed by a move to
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2001, where
she has since been.
Laura has gained extensive experience in clinical paediatrics
dietetics including: gastroenterology, neonatology, endocrinology and
diabetes, special needs and neurology including ketogenic diets, with
her main interests being allergies and feeding difficulties.
