Mr Bloom undertook his postgraduate surgical training in Leeds and Manchester. He was specialist senior registrar in colorectal surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Mr Bloom has been a consultant at Kingston Hospital for 10 years and has a wide experience of all colorectal conditions. He is enthusiastic about continuing medical education, modernising colorectal practice and up to date techniques. Mr Bloom has extensive academic publications and received a higher degree after undertaking a research fellowship in the USA.
