Dr Scott qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and completed higher specialist training in London. She is one of the Consultant Community Paediatricians at Kingston Hospital, based within the Maple Children's Centre, and has been since 2004. She sees children of all ages for general paediatric conditions, as well as developmental and behavioural concerns. She is qualified to undertake Griffiths Developmental Assessments and Diagnostic Interviews for Social Communication Disorders (DISCO).
